Who we are

Mandate Map Limited (“Mandate Map”, “we”) is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. We are registered in England and Wales, company no. 16947109, with our registered office at 167-169 Great Portland Street, London W1W 5PF. We build and operate deal-origination software for UK private equity, and we research UK companies that may be a fit for acquisition or partnership conversations.

If you have received an email from us or from a customer using our platform, this section explains what we hold about you and your rights.

What we hold

Your name, your role, and your business contact details, along with public information about your company (filings, accounts, website content).

Where it came from

The Companies House public register, your company's own website, and business-contact directories. We do not read private data, social accounts in a personal capacity, or anything beyond your business role.

Why

To write to you — individually, and about your company specifically — where we believe there may be a serious, relevant business conversation to be had. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR): a confidential, one-to-one approach to a company's officers about that company's future. We have documented this assessment and will provide it on request.

What we don't do

We don't send bulk marketing, we don't sell or share your details, and nothing is emailed to you by automation that a person hasn't set up and remains accountable for. If you reply, automated follow-ups to you stop immediately.

How long

While your company remains relevant to an active mandate, after which the data is deleted or anonymised. If you object, we keep only the minimum needed to make sure we never contact you again.

If you use this website

• No cookies, no analytics. This site sets no cookies and runs no tracking or analytics of any kind.
• The register-interest form. If you submit the form, we collect the name, work email address and company you give us. We use them only to respond to you and to arrange the walkthrough or demonstration you asked for. That processing is at your request; our lawful bases are your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to you.
• Delivery. Your submission is delivered to our mailbox by an email delivery provider and is not stored on this website.
• Retention. We keep form submissions for as long as the conversation you started is live. Ask us to delete them at any time and we will.

Your rights

• Object at any time — reply to any email and say so, or contact us below. We stop, permanently, and confirm.
• Access, correction, erasure — ask and we will respond within one month.
• Complain — to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you are unhappy with how we have handled your data.
